Quality Control Inspector – Night Shift
Full-Time Night Shift
Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, alternating Wednesdays
Hours: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure all products meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Ensure proper allocation procedures are followed and verify that the correct products are pulled and shipped to customers.
- Assist the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor in ensuring all required product inspections are completed, labeling specifications are followed, and non-conforming products are identified, pulled, and corrected.
- Flex between the shipping dock, receiving dock, and production areas to assist with quality issues and inspections.
- Report any exceptions to customer specifications to the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor.
- Send quality issue emails regarding non-compliant products.
- Oversee floor operations when the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor is unavailable.
- Maintain awareness of recent product rejections and rejection trends.
- Ensure product packaging is clean, presentable, and meets customer expectations.
- Maintain the highest standards of product presentation.
- Perform other quality control-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Provide training to employees when required.
Education & Background Requirements
- One year of college education or at least six months of experience in a related field required.
- Previous experience in the produce industry is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment skills assessment.
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work creatively, adapt to changing priorities, and accurately complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Spanish language skills are considered an asset.
- Previous inspection or auditing experience is preferred.
- Experience working with software applications is considered an asset.
- Basic computer skills required; experience with JDA or NAV is preferred.
- Ability to properly use and read measuring devices, including scales, calipers, and rulers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily in an expansive refrigerated warehouse environment, with temperatures typically ranging from 45°F–55°F, except in office areas.
- Background noise levels may approach 70 decibels (dB).
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
