Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases (CE&IG) Korea is a subsidiary of Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group) and is incorporated in South Korea. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our growing Nikkiso CE&IG Korea team.

The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring product and system quality across manufacturing and project execution by integrating quality assurance, quality control, regulatory compliance, and field-based quality verification activities.

This role focuses on verifying system integrity, analyzing performance, and identifying deviations from requirements. The QC Inspector provides technical assessment and quality judgment while coordinating with engineering, production, and commissioning teams to ensure compliance and reliable system performance throughout the lifecycle.

  • Essential functions & Responsibilities:

    Quality Assurance & System Management

    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation
    • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks
    • Support and manage audits, certifications, and quality system improvements

    Inspection & Testing Management

    • Perform or oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections
    • Verify product and system quality against specifications and requirements
    • Ensure proper execution and control of inspection and testing activities

    Field Quality Verification & Issue Assessment

    • Perform on-site quality verification, inspection, and issue assessment
    • Identify and assess system issues (e.g., leakage, vibration, misalignment) from a quality and compliance perspective
    • Provide technical input and recommendations for issue resolution
    • Validate installation quality and system condition during and after construction and commissioning activities
    • Perform measurement and verification activities (e.g., vibration, alignment, torque, leak checks) to assess system integrity
    • Verify completion of punch list and corrective actions in coordination with responsible teams

    Technical Coordination & Customer Interface

    • Coordinate with customers, vendors, commissioning, and production teams to resolve quality and technical issues
    • Participate in FAT, PIM, site meetings, and technical discussions
    • Interface with commissioning and field service teams to ensure alignment between design intent and actual system performance
    • Provide technical support and communication across project stakeholders

    System Performance Analysis & Validation

    • Analyze system performance using testing data, measurements, and field observations
    • Monitor and interpret system trends (e.g., temperature, vibration, operational behavior) to identify abnormalities
    • Evaluate system performance against design intent and quality requirements
    • Provide technical assessment of system behavior and support validation activities in coordination with responsible teams
    • Identify potential root causes and contribute to root cause analysis

    Non-conformance Management & Problem Solving

    • Identify non-conformities and quality issues across production and project execution
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
    • Ensure corrective actions are implemented through responsible teams
    • Coordinate resolution of quality issues across cross-functional teams

    Regulatory Compliance & Certification Management

    • Support or lead compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, KGS, IECEx, ISO)
    • Coordinate certification processes, inspections, and regulatory interactions
    • Manage documentation and approvals required for compliance
    • Continuous Improvement & Quality Optimization
    • Analyze quality and field data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
    • Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives
    • Enhance product quality, reliability, and operational performance

    Quality Documentation & Data Management

    • Prepare and manage quality documentation including inspection records, reports, and certificates
    • Ensure traceability and accuracy of quality data
    • Support reporting and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

자격 요건

  • Requirements & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering field
    • Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, or field service environments
    • Understanding of quality systems, inspection, and testing processes
    • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, KGS, IECEx)
    • Ability to perform root cause analysis and technical problem solving
    • Experience in field troubleshooting and system validation
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and specifications
    • Experience working in project-based and multidisciplinary environments
    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
    • Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering tools
    • English communication skills
    • Willingness to travel and perform on-site work
