Job Title Quality Control Inspector

 Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join their dynamic team. The company is a leading producer and distributor of high-quality, eco-friendly, reusable non-woven fabric bags, specializing in branded eco-packaging for supermarkets, footwear, fashion retailers, and corporate promotions.

The Quality Inspector has a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the fabric products. By examining materials, overseeing production processes, and identifying defects, this position ensures that the products consistently meet and exceed the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of quality control principles and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials to verify compliance with quality specifications and standards.
2. Actively oversee production processes to ensure adherence to established quality guidelines and procedures.
3. Perform a variety of tests on products, including dimensional measurements, functional assessments, and comparisons against specifications.
4. Proactively identify any deviations from quality standards, including defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities.
5. Accurately document all detected defects, including their nature, location, and severity, for analysis and corrective action.
6. Suggest and implement improvements to production processes to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
7. Prepare detailed reports for the quality manager, summarizing inspection findings, test results, and corrective actions taken.
8. Work closely with production teams and quality assurance personnel to ensure consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.
9. Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess their quality control practices and ensure compliance with our standards.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a similar role within the fabric or textile industry.
3. Proficiency in using quality testing tools and equipment.
4. A deep understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
