Job Description

As a QC Inspector, you are the eyes and hands of Suitsupply’s quality function on the factory floor. Permanently embedded at a production facility, you will perform final random inspections on all active production styles to ensure every garment meets Suitsupply’s exacting standards before it leaves the factory. This role is central to our Phase 1 model — one dedicated inspector per factory, building deep knowledge of that facility’s processes and quality performance over time. Working closely with factory inspectors and technicians, you will build trusted partnerships that drive continuous quality improvement.
What you will do
  • Perform final random inspections (FRI, Stage 5) on finished goods in accordance with AQL sampling plans and Suitsupply inspection criteria.
  • Evaluate garments against approved PP samples, tech packs, and workmanship standards.
  • Classify and document defects accurately (critical, major, minor) with photographic evidence.
  • Receive and review factory in-line QC reports for visibility and early risk identification (Stage 4).
  • Communicate inspection results to factory management and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Submit regular inspection reports to the regional QC Manager.
  • Contribute to Stage 7 data collection: accurate defect logging to feed factory scorecards.
  • Build strong working relationships with factory production and QC teams.
  • Flag systemic quality issues or production risks to the QC Manager promptly.
  • Support Phase 2 factory capability development over time.
  • Compare AQL results with the factory’s own AQL results and identify discrepancies.
  • Review AQL and factory performance on a regular basis and assist in improvement plans (e.g. improving rework rates through more technical in-line assistance).
  • Assist in bulk fabric inspections and report any issues such as colour shading.
 Who you are
  • 2+ years of experience in garment quality inspection, ideally within menswear, tailoring, or shirts.
  • Solid knowledge of garment construction, common defect types, and AQL inspection standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret tech packs and garment specifications.
  • Good written and spoken English for reporting to the regional QC Manager.
  • Local language proficiency relevant to factory location.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sharp and consistent eye for garment quality and workmanship.
  • Objective and fair in defect assessment — independent from factory pressure.
  • Clear and accurate in documentation and reporting.
  • Builds effective working relationships with factory staff while maintaining independence.
  • Disciplined, self-directed, and accountable.
 What you will get
  • Autonomy: We empower you to take ownership, make meaningful decisions, and drive impact without layers of sign-off.
  • Growth: We see your potential as a key asset. At Suitsupply, you’ll have abundant opportunities to learn, grow, and excel in a supportive environment that encourages development at every step.
  • Incentivized Bonus: Earn a performance-based bonus tied directly to your productivity and results.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Our commitment to sustainability and ethical business is unwavering. We work exclusively with suppliers who uphold the highest standards, in alignment with the International Labour Organization.
  • Style: Immerse yourself in a world of beautifully crafted, high-quality products, and enjoy a 40% discount on Suitsupply products.

About Suitsupply

Founded in Europe in 2000, Suitsupply has grown to over 100 international stores in cities such as Milan, London, Amsterdam, Zurich, Munich, New York, Toronto, Dubai, South Korea, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to our ever-expanding number of brick-and-mortar locations, we maintain a strong online presence, allowing Suitsupply to bring our style and top-tier service to all corners of the globe.

In an industry where fast fashion dominates and craftsmanship is fast disappearing, Suitsupply introduces a better option: one where no attention to detail or quality is ever spared. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Ferla, E. Thomas, Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

We have received widespread accolade from the likes of GQ, Esquire, and, perhaps most notably, a Wall Street Journal blind test that rated a $600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place tie with a $3,600 Armani.

While high-quality suiting at an affordable price point remain at the core of all that we do, our versatile range includes jackets, trousers, outerwear, shoes, accessories and attire available as prêt à porter and made-to-measure.

At Suitsupply, we pride ourselves in taking innovative approaches to traditional problems. This has led to the development of technologies such as our Design Your Own feature, our Garmentor app, and a commitment to in-house tailoring, providing quick alterations while you wait for a perfect fit every time. Each and every sales associate receives in-depth training through our acclaimed Suit School, bringing the unmatched level of passion and expertise that make Suitsupply’s customer service stand out.

The message is clear. We believe that nobody should leave Suitsupply with anything less than a perfect fit. If you’re equally devoted to quality, check out our jobs page for opportunities to join us.
