Job Description

The BSA Quality Control Assistant Manager at MNAe leads product validation and ensures compliance with quality standards through data-driven analysis of in-process and finished products. This role performs in-depth defect analysis, utilizes inspection tools, and drives fundamental improvements based on root cause findings. The position also manages defect reporting and identifies defect-prone processes to proactively implement corrective actions. Additionally, the role supports customer/supplier alignment and continuous quality improvement across operations.

  • Manage and monitor periodic BSA reliability testing activities to ensure completion in accordance with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of reliability validation activities for customer requirements, 4M changes, and ISIR submissions.
  • Develop and maintain reliability test schedules and ensure adherence to validation timelines.
  • Coordinate customer approvals related to reliability validation, 4M changes, and ISIR documentation.
  • Support new product development, validation builds, and engineering change activities through reliability testing and analysis.

AUTHORITY & SCOPE This role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalate matters as required

Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant area, with a strong preference for expertise in data analysis, quality control, quality assurance, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing sectors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including implementation, maintenance, and internal/supplier auditing.
  • Proficient in data analysis with the ability to interpret trends, evaluate quality metrics, and drive data-based improvements.
  • Experience with SPC, Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt preferred), and core quality tools for process control and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience guiding cross-functional teams and driving accountability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills, including the ability to act decisively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analysis, reporting, and presentation.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, including GD&T.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability testing methodologies, validation planning, and product qualification requirements.
  • Experience managing reliability test schedules, test reports, and validation documentation.
  • Knowledge of automotive reliability requirements, customer specifications, and validation processes.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt).
  • Significant experience in the automotive industry. Required Education & Experience:

Working Conditions:

Office setting; Climate controlled factory environment, including access to quality control inspection rooms, with occasional outdoor work. The role will involve walking and standing throughout the day
