
Supplier Quality Control Analyst Sr. (Kings HWY)
This position will support various projects as a Supplier Quality Analyst. The Supplier Quality (SQ) Analyst is responsible for assuring contracted material and accompanying documentation conforms to Purchase Order (PO) requirements.
The SQ Analyst interprets part description and Purchase Order data to determine requirements, selects the appropriate inspection plan, then performs and defines hardware inspection.
SQ Analyst duties include:
• Analyzing specifications and certifications for conformity• Developing and executing inspection plans• Devising and implementing quality procedures• Communicating technical details, both verbally and in writing, with EB engineering and inspection, and with external suppliers• Recognizing and resolving emergent quality issues• Other duties as assigned• Travel required 50 to 75%
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent•5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, quality analysis, material inspection or operations• Experience interpreting contractual requirements, manufacturing drawings, and military or commercial specifications • Experience in using precision measuring equipment • Proficient in MS-Office and related software• Ability to travel based on business needs from 50-75%
Preferred Requirements:
• Technical Trade School Certification, Diploma, or Associates Degree• Previous experience with Manufacturing Resources and Planning databases such as Microsoft Projects• Proficiency in inspection of concentrated disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, materials, valves• Previous experience with NDT methods and inspection criteria
