The Quality Control (QC) Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, customer/OEM expectations, and internal quality standards. This role focuses on monitoring operational quality performance, managing documented information, identifying trends, and driving corrective and preventive actions.The QC Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop procedures, analyze quality data, investigate nonconformances, and implement improvements that enhance product and process quality.
Compensation
$53,712 - $55,904/Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with QMS processes including: Non conformance management, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), change management, documented information control, competency and training records, and assist with preparation for internal and external ISO audits.
Documentation & SOP Development
• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality forms, ensure all documentation follows document control requirements and revision control, and maintain records and documentation required for ISO compliance.
Non conformance & Corrective Action
• Investigate quality issues and document non conformance reports (NCRs).
• Perform root cause analysis using tools such as: 5 why, fishbone. A3 problem solving
• Track corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
Data Analysis & Trend Monitoring
• Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Track quality metrics such as: Defect rates, customer complaints, rework, and OEM reported issues
• Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate quality performance to leadership.
OEM & Customer Compliance
•Ensure operational processes meet OEM requirements and customer specifications, monitor compliance with customer quality standards and requirements, and support investigations and responses related to customer-reported issues.
Training & Quality Awareness
•Assist with training employees on quality procedures and QMS requirements, Promote quality awareness and best practices, and training tracking and documentation.
Support operational quality initiatives by monitoring OEM defect reporting trends and analyzing vehicle inspection, installation, and VPC process quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist in the preparation and reporting of quality performance metrics and scorecards to support operational decision-making.
Contribute to the development and delivery of employee training related to quality procedures, ISO 9001 requirements, and quality management system processes.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality training materials and documentation to ensure consistent understanding of quality standards across departments.
Promote quality awareness and a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with operational teams, providing guidance on quality procedures, and reinforcing adherence to established quality standards and processes.

Education & Experience
• H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
• Associates Degree Preferred
• 1 - 2 years of direct experience in Quality Control
• Valid state driver's license Required

Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
