Quality Compliance Field Coordinator

The Quality Compliance Field Coordinator will monitor and audit all United Road Logistics Service Providers for customer and vendor contract compliance during the loading and unloading of trailers at customer and other sites as well as enforce proper protocols to ensure the damage-free handling and securement of our customer’s vehicles. The QCFC requires a self-motivated professional with the ability to monitor many car haulers and many pieces of equipment simultaneously, paying close attention to adherence to proper loading and unloading techniques.

Job Duties

• Be well-versed and keep up to date with customer and vendor contract terms and guidelines pertaining to the handling and shipping of vehicles
• Serve as a point of contact for professional car haulers to help resolve customer issues during loading and unloading
• Monitor professional car haulers on the damage-free handling and securement of customer’s vehicles
• Monitor, audit and address questions of professional car haulers regarding the proper process of conducting pre-trip inspections
• Alert professional car haulers to on-going errors noted in the loading and unloading process before driving
• Complete standard audits of the loads built by professional car haulers and report audits as requested by Quality management

Qualifications

• College degree or at least one year of related experience preferably in a trucking environment
• Strong oral, verbal communication, and typing skills
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations as relates to customer and vendor contract requirements and guidelines
• E-Log experience is a plus
• Some travel required to customer and other sites as business needs dictate
