The Role

  • As a QualityCo-ordinator, you will support the Quality Manager and wider TMC Quality Team in monitoring and improving quality across the UK entity.
  • Your focus will include clinical governance, incident and complaint management, audits, riskmanagementand continuous improvement.
  • You will bring strong clinical governance experience and a healthcare background. Radiology experience is preferred, particularly for supporting medical complaint investigations. Clinical registration is desirable but not essential.
  • The role is based on a 40-hour working week, with 7.5 hours working days, typically between 09:00 and 17:00, although some flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
  • We offer a hybrid working model with regular travel to the Reading office and occasional travel within the UK and internationally, including the Barcelona officeYou will work across TMC departments and entities, report to the QualityManageranddeputisewhenrequired.

Quality is wellestablishedat TMC. WemaintainISO 9001, ISO 27001 and QSI certifications and are working towards ISO 14001. Our Quality Management System supports compliance with TMC andUnilabsstandards, regulatoryrequirementsand continuous improvement.

  • Maintain quality and security standards and supporting documentation.
  • Promote quality awareness,trainingand compliance.
  • Monitor incidents, non-conformitiesand complaints.
  • Support risk management,auditsand clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Manager inmaintainingthe Quality Management System and compliance with certifications,regulationsand customer requirements.
  • Help implement group policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
  • Promote a quality culture through guidance,trainingand practical support.
  • Prepare quality data for UK clients and attend client meetings whenrequired.
  • Manage thetimelyrecording and triage of incidents, adverse events, non-conformitiesand complaints.
  • Support risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, trendmonitoringand quality reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for medical incident investigations and communicate with clientsoncases.
  • Plan andparticipatein internal and external audits, accreditationactivitiesand follow-up actions.
  • Support risk management across TMC offices and departments.
  • Deputisefor the Quality Manager whenrequiredand undertake other relevant duties.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience in quality or clinical governance, including clinical complaints and incident management.
  • Direct radiology governance experience and knowledge of QSI standards.
  • Knowledge and practical application of the PSIRF framework.
  • Understanding ofquality improvement methodologies and ISO requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Investigation-processand PSIRF training are desirable.
  • Clinical registration with the NMC,HCPCor an equivalent professional body is desirable.
