Job Description

Title: Quality Co-ordinator

Reports to: Quality Engineer

Imagine working at the forefront of innovation in fluid-flow technology, with over 1,400 colleagues across the globe, and contributing to a legacy of excellence that spans eight manufacturing facilities on four continents. Armstrong Fluid Technology is more than just a leader in our industry; we are a community of the brightest and most creative minds, driven by a shared mission to engineer the future and safeguard our planet.

As part of our team, you'll be immersed in an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and collaboration. Here, you'll have the opportunity to push boundaries, tackle exciting challenges, and develop cutting-edge solutions that promote energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Every day offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a more sustainable future, driving innovations that help lower global carbon footprints. Together, we’re creating a legacy that goes beyond business—one that’s changing the world for the better.

We are looking for an organized and data-driven Quality Co-Ordinator to join our team in the HVAC & Fire industry. This is a hands-on role at the center of our quality function: you will co-ordinate the day-to-day running of our quality systems, own the quality data and reporting, and act as the link between engineers, installers, admin staff and management. It suits someone with a year or two of experience in a quality, technical or data-focused administrative role who is confident in Excel and comfortable chasing work through to completion.

Key Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate and maintain quality documentation, records and data for HVAC installations, servicing, and manufacturing
  • Own the non-conformance and customer feedback process — logging issues, chasing corrective actions with the relevant teams, and analysing the data to identify recurring trends and root causes
  • Build and maintain the Excel spreadsheets, trackers and dashboards used to monitor quality performance across the business
  • Produce regular quality reports, summaries and charts for the Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and wider management team, highlighting trends and areas of concern
  • Co-ordinate the internal audit schedule and support external inspections and certification visits, collating evidence and following up on findings
  • Ensure job files, certificates, and maintenance records are complete, accurate and accessible, and that document control is followed
  • Maintain data integrity in quality management systems (digital and paper-based), validating entries and resolving gaps or inconsistencies
  • Co-ordinate tools calibration and maintenance schedules, ensuring records are kept up to date and equipment stays in date
  • Act as a first point of contact for quality queries and support the Quality Manager with reporting, data requests and continuous improvement projects
  • Help deliver toolbox talks and training sessions related to quality and safety, and support the roll-out of updated procedures

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

  • Good general education to GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Around 1–2 years' experience in a quality, administrative, data or reporting role, ideally in a technical, engineering or construction environment
  • Training or certification in quality, internal auditing, data analysis or HVAC is a plus

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and co-ordination skills, with the ability to manage several priorities and follow work through to completion
  • High attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach to working with data
  • Confident working with numbers — able to spot errors and inconsistencies and draw clear conclusions from a set of data
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work across teams (e.g., engineers, installers, admin staff) and chase actions with people at all levels
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems, standards or compliance processes (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting, alongside good working knowledge of the wider Microsoft Office suite
  • A proactive, improvement-minded approach and a willingness to build technical knowledge of HVAC systems and procedures
