Opening Paragraph:

Develops, implements and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities performing product and process audits. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with others; effectively communicates with team and various stakeholders.

  • Assists in achieving operational and/or functional objectives that enable the successful execution of department goals; supports attainment of KPIs and action plans.

  • Completes the inspection of non-compliant products generated during production, analysis of the causes of defects, preparation of reports and statistics.

  • Completes the blocking of lost products, first level analysis and scrapping of non-compliant products.

  • Coordinates measurement tasks.

  • Actively participates in the implementation and control of the necessary countermeasures.

  • Plan and execute process and product audits

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent experience.

  • Experience with all Focus Factories BPD, Gas and Electricity

  • Very good communication verbal and written with all levels of the plant

  • Experience as Quality Auditor

  • Team player to work along with operations and all areas for trouble shooting and implementing corrective actions

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Basic knowledge on Quality Core Tools such as PFMEA, Control plans, SPC and MSA

- Experience with ISO 9001 external and internal audits

- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools

- Experience in Problem Solving Methodologies

Travel:

No travel is required for this position

Physical Demands:

Working on production floor following HSE rules and policies.
