Job Description

This position is responsible for performing Delegated Product Release Verification (DPRV/DQR) in support of customer self-release programs. The Quality Auditor will serve as a customer-authorized release representative, ensuring all products meet engineering, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements prior to shipment.

This position sits in Warren, MI and will report to the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform product verification and release as a delegated representative under customer self-release programs
  • Interpret and validate:
  • Engineering drawings
  • Specifications
  • Process requirements
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Customer requirements (PWC, Rolls-Royce, GE)
  • Internal quality procedures
  • Maintain certification under AS13001 (DPVR/DQR)
  • Review manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy
  • Interface with customers regarding product acceptance and quality issues
  • Support audits related to delegated release programs
  • Participate in root cause and corrective action for product nonconformance

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required; An associate degree is desirable
  • 5 + years of equivalent experience in a Quality Inspection / Auditor role.
  • AS13001 Certification Common Training for DPVR
  • Experience working with ISO 9001 & AS 9100, Aerospace OEM Customer-Specific Requirements.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office. Focus on Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Experience interfacing with internal customers, external customers, and external third-party auditors.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience (Preferred).
  • Automotive quality core tools including root cause analysis and problem solving.
