What You Will Achieve
The Quality Assurance Intern provides support to Quality Assurance activities across Operational Quality Assurance, Quality Documentation, Quality Systems, Quality Validations and Quality Compliance. The role contributes to GMP compliance, documentation management, sample retention processes, complaint support activities, change control documentation, CAPA follow-up, and regulatory monitoring.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and develop a broad understanding of Quality Systems and GMP requirements.
How You Will Achieve It
Support implementation and maintenance of 5S principles within the QA area.
Support review, organization, and filing of retain samples.
Assist with retain sample destruction activities according to approved procedures.
Support shipment of boxes and materials to the document storage bank.
Participate in operational quality activities and GMP documentation support
Support document bank management activities, including requests, retrievals, receipts, and shipments.
Assist with Logbook management, including ALCOA reviews of physical logbooks and preparation of records for archiving.
Support preparation and maintenance of Quality Review Meeting presentations according to applicable SOPs and agendas.
Participate in complaint-related retain sample evaluations, including official photographic documentation.
Request and coordinate retrieval of documentation from the document bank for complaint investigations.
Support evidence required for investigation and CAPAs closure activities.
Support validation documentation research on harmonization projects.
Support 5S project on validation documentation room.
Perform initial monitoring of updates to pharmacopeias and applicable regulations.
Support tracking of CAPAs approaching their due dates.
Assist in monitoring quality actions and maintaining critical action tracking tools.
Contribute to compliance-related quality improvement activities.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
University student pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and Quality Assurance.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis is desirable.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience working in an office setting, demonstrating a strong ability to adapt to various administrative tasks and environments
Proficiency in managing office operations, showcasing excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with office software and technology, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Experience in handling confidential information with discretion and integrity
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Knowledge of GMP, Data Integrity principles, and quality systems
