Our client is a boutique Software House that offers unique IT products and services tailored to your business needs and requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

• To assist and support the QA Manager in executing test planning activities, test execution activities, defect management activities up till test closure activities to the given assigned project. Also require from time to time in some test tooling evaluation and test process improvement activities that the QA Manager will assign this role to.
• Work collaboratively and pragmatically with the QA manager, QA Team including other teams such as Development Team, Database team, business users and with vendors in supporting the application to achieve high quality product before reaching UAT and Production.
• Ensure quality of test cases, test execution, defect management by following a set of best practices established within the organization.
• Write high quality test cases, detailed bug report and release notes in accordance with the organization's Test Plan and Test Strategy.
• Involved in updating & maintaining a set of documentations such as test cases, bug report, user guide, and release notes in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform Functional test, Exploratory test, API integration test, DB verification tests, Sanity test, Smoke tests, Usability tests, Localization tests and some level of Security Test and Disaster Recovery test on both Mobile, Browser & Desktop applications throughout the software testing phases.
• Detect & raise defects related to risks, problems that will impact the application in a timely manner and follow through to closure.
• Have a good understanding of domain knowledge when planning and writing test cases and executing with coverage that will deliver good and positive user experience to those using the application.
  

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or IT equivalent.
• Attributes of a team player, person who is empathetic, have a keen eye for detail, pro-active, analytical, meticulous, detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on testing experience with Mobile, Browser & Desktop applications testing at present moment is a plus.
• Ability to perform simple database query for DB validation and verification.
  Flexibility in work hours to complete tasks on time.
• Some level of experience and understanding working with Practitest is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experienced working in an Agile or Kanban team using JIRA.
• Understanding of BDD and TDD testing approach.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Gaming & sports industry knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent writing skills and good verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
• Automation skill set required:
  1. Knowledge in automation tools (i.g. Selenium WebDriver, TOSCA, etc.).
  2. Knowledge in automation test scripts design (i.g. regression testing, etc.).

Remuneration:

MYR 5,000 - MYR 10,000
