Job Description

Quality Assurance Tech at Amazon test applications and products at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. They are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion, with guidance. QAT would be responsible for understanding the features and detailed functional requirements well enough, coming up with the test cases with some guidance, test execution and reporting with high bar on quality. QAT's are technically savvy in use of software, computers and devices, support automation, can install and configure software, can use debug settings, have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions. They assist developers or other testers and maintain a high quality test environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Write and maintain test cases for different features
- Exhibit technical capability to execute automated test scripts,
- Analyze logs and traces to add to bug reports.
- Interpret test results and test coverage

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience with automation and any version control tools

- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
