Job Description

Quality Control (50%):

  • Inspect and test milk and dairy products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Document and report any quality issues or deviations from standards.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance to address and resolve quality concerns.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain quality control records.

Receiving (50%):

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments of milk and dairy products.
  • Inspect containers for damage and verify that deliveries match purchase orders.
  • Record and document received goods, including quantities and any discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of liquid containers to maintain product integrity.
  • Perform physical labor related to moving and organizing products.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Clean and wash containers, equipment, and work areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a quality control or receiving role, preferably in a food or dairy plant, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy containers as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to document and report findings accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a food production environment is preferred.
