Job Description

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for managing the quality assurance process, developing test strategies, leading a team of QA engineers, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before release. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Core Duties

• Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers. Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
• Define and implement QA processes and methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Establish quality metrics and KPIs.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee manual and automated testing activities.
• Review and approve test cases and scripts.
• Support automation framework development and maintenance.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Provide quality reports and release readiness assessments.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging testing tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Experience with test management tools.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools.
• Aptitude for data analysis & problem solving.
• Process-orientation with attention to detail.
• 3 years of experience in software testing.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Desire to coach and lead a QA team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
