SALARY RANGE

$ 50,584.82- $55,076.06 Annually $1,945.57 - $2,118.31 Bi-weekly

This position is responsible for supervising professional employees in the Quality Assurance & Provider Development Section and for providing technical assistance and analysis of the program. The primary duties center around monitoring and communication with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees planning and directing their work: having authority to hire, transfer, suspend, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such actions. The incumbent oversees he operation of the Provider Development Regional processes to include Provider Enrollment, Provider Training, and serves as Provider Liaison for the Region.

The Work You Will Do

Assists Regional Program Administrator and/or the Quality Assurance & Provider Development Manager in managing the Provider Development Regional processes. Meets assigned deadlines for ad-hoc initiatives and requested reports.

Participates in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of service programs for persons with developmental disabilities. Over sees operations as it relates to quality improvement including Provider Enrollment, Provider Training, and Provider Liaison functions. Assists in the identification and resolution of Region-specific problems concerning policy implementation and service delivery. Serves as back up for the Provider Development Regional Program Supervisor.

Completes Corrective Action Plans and Plans of Remediation, performs provider audits and wellness checks.

Initiates and maintains open communication with community, service providers and stakeholders. Coordinates investigations of special incidents and/or complaints regarding agency services program. Participates in workshops, training sessions and meetings as assigned.

Performs other duties as necessary to support the Region functions including, but not limited to serving as back up staff for other Region staff and duties required during an emergency as specified in the Region Emergency Plan.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation to travel for work purposes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or four years of experience in quality management activities.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Knowledge of:

  • Use Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, APD business systems including ABC, iBudget, iConnect.

Ability to:

  • Navigate Florida Medicaid Management Information System (FMMIS), Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN), Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) Clearinghouse, Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Portal, Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS), Caretaker Screening Information System (CSIS).
  • Travel for work purposes.

As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

Background Screening Requirement

It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.

Pursuant to S. 110.1127(1), Florida Statutes, this position requires a background investigation, including fingerprinting.
