Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for SFMC email campaignsautomation, pushnotifications and SMS, and integrations

  • Perform manual testingtovalidatefunctionality, rendering, personalization, and data accuracyacrossmultipledevices and platforms

  • Collaboratewithdevelopers, marketers, and data teamstoidentify, document, and resolvedefectsorissues

  • Validate data flows, segmentation, and audience targeting within Data Extensions and ContactBuilder (SFMC).

  • Supportthedeployment and implementationof SFMC campaigns, ensuringadherenceto timelines and qualitystandards

  • Monitor campaign performance post-deployment and assist in troubleshootinganyissues

  • Maintaindetaileddocumentationof test cases, results, and implementationprocedures

  • Stay currentwith SFMC platformupdates, testingtools, and industrybestpractices

  • Assist in training teammemberson QA processes and SFMC implementationstandards

  • Excels at filingissues in theissuetrackerwithenoughdetails, backgroundcontext, and reproductionscenarios

  • ProductionDefect & Incident Rate

  • Percentageofdefects and productionincidentsidentified after deployment versus duringthe QA process, includingbrokenjourneys, incorrect targeting, renderingfailures, orautomationissues

  • Campaign QA Accuracy First Pass Approval Rate

  • Percentageofcampaignsapprovedduringthefirst QA reviewwithoutmajorreworkrequiredIncludesvalidationofRendering, Personalization, Dynamic content, Link tracking, Data accuracy

  • Deployment & IssueResolutionEfficiency

  • Percentageofcampaigns, automations, and journeysdeployedwithinagreed timelines, whilemaintainingefficientidentification, prioritization, documentation, and resolutionofdefectsissues in Jira orother tracking systems

  • Cross-PlatformRendering Success Rate

  • Percentageof emails successfullyvalidatedacrossdevices, browsers, and email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, mobile, etc.).
