Your Impact

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist – Packaging to join our Supplier Quality Assurance team at our Head Office in Southbank, VIC, ensuring the packaging used across our portfolio meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll work closely with packaging suppliers and internal teams to manage packaging supplier quality, drive quality improvements, resolve issues, and protect the integrity of our products.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage packaging supplier quality. Lead qualification, approval and ongoing performance management of packaging suppliers
• Lead packaging supplier audits, compliance activities and corrective action follow-up
• Monitor supplier performance through performance reporting and leading supplier quality reviews
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs to reduce defects, improve reliability and strengthen supplier capability
• Manage specification governance and approval systems with suppliers
• Support the reduction of packaging-related incidents, consumer complaints and manufacturing down time
• Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, and technical teams on packaging changes and innovation
• Deliver supplier quality reporting, KPI analysis, compliance, and quality system improvements

About you

• Qualifications in Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, packaging, or manufacturing within FMCG or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with suppliers, manufacturing and cross-functional teams
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements
• Great communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Enjoy getting to the root cause of complex issues, influencing supplier behaviour, and using data to drive meaningful improvements across a broad supply chain
