About the role

We are looking for a QA Specialist to join our Nordic Quality team. In this role, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring compliance with GDP, GMP, company standards, and local regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners to maintain high standards of quality and compliance across the Nordic markets. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to quality processes and contribute to a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

We offer a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to work both remotely and from the office, while enabling close collaboration with colleagues across the Nordic region. This is a fixed-term opportunity for a minimum of 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Support product release activities and Quality Operations, ensuring products consistently meet quality, safety, efficacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and continuously improve the complaint handling process across Nordic markets, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and trend monitoring.
• Support the Product Quality Review (PQR) process, including preparation and coordination of Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH) PQRs.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated Quality Management System (QMS) processes, driving process ownership and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and enhance the QMS to support compliance, achievement of Nordic Quality Objectives, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure quality processes comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and internal quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen compliance, promote a robust quality culture, and provide expert quality guidance and support.
• Support oversight of third-party service providers, logistics partners, and suppliers, ensuring quality issues are appropriately escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Contribute to Management Review activities by monitoring Quality KPIs, identifying trends and risks, and driving improvement opportunities.
• Support quality risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
• Participate in self-inspections, internal audits, external audits, and inspection readiness activities.
• Support investigations and root cause analyses, and drive effective CAPA implementation for deviations, change controls, audit findings, complaints, and other quality-related issues.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

• University degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of Quality Assurance experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in at least one Nordic language.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive and quality-focused approach.
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) is considered an advantage.

Beneficial

• Experience working in a GDP and/or GMP-regulated environment.
• Exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS), including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality risk management.
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and quality system requirements.
• Exposure to complaint management processes and product quality investigations.
• Participation in internal audits, supplier audits, or regulatory inspection activities.
• Experience collaborating with third-party service providers, warehouses, distributors, or suppliers.
• Experience within warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or pharmaceutical operations.
• Familiarity with Product Quality Reviews (PQRs/PPRs) and Management Review activities.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality metrics/KPIs.

SEK 532 628,00 - SEK 732 363,50 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role.
