We are currently looking for a hands-on

Quality Assurance Officer for Food & Feed Safety

to join our team at the Central Post office in the heart of Rotterdam.

This role offers you a unique opportunity to be the first point of contact for food & feed safety at our production sites in the Netherlands. Based in Rotterdam, you will work within the Central Quality Assurance Team, ensuring compliance with food & feed safety standards and driving continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Within this role you will act as on-site contact for food & feed safety questions and quality topics You are going to work closely with internal departments and report to the Group QA Manager This small team is very ambitious, and the goal is to continuously deliver high quality products and improve ongoing processes to achieve even higher standards.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

· Bachelor’s degree in food technology, quality Management, or a related field

· 3–5 years in QA or food safety

· Fluent in Dutch and English ( written and spoken is a must!)

· Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, FSSC, GMP+ or equivalents)

· Willing to travel between NL locations, Vondelingenplaat, Zaandam and Central Post (driver’s license required) & occasionally Germany

· Experience in audits, hygiene checks, and document management systems

In addition, you bring:

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Strong knowledge of food safety standards and certification processes

· Hands-on, proactive attitude and ability to work independently

· Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

· Ability to influence quality awareness and culture across sites
