Job Description

The Dauphin County Human Services Director's Office is currently accepting applications for a full-time, day shift position of Quality Assurance Management Analyst Supervisor. The hourly rate for this position is $25.33. This position performs supervisory and responsible technical analytical work related to the analysis of child welfare and older adult services. Work involves supervising the Quality Assurance Unit staff in conducting studies, gathering background data, conducting interviews, case record reviews, case record meetings, inspections, analyzing data, developing conclusions and recommendations, and preparing oral and written reports. The Quality Assurance Management Analyst Supervisor manages all activities related to case record reviews and helps build the infrastructure for a culture of continuous improvement among all staff. The position requires knowledge of statistics and the proper methods to collect data, employ the correct analyses, and effectively present the results. Work includes meetings and discussions with departmental officials to review results, to furnish sound case management analysis techniques, and to ensure optimization of internal services and processes. The QA Management Analyst Supervisor is a member of the Supervisors group and shall attend monthly supervisor meetings within all Human Services departments, as directed. The employee may exercise independent judgment in planning and directing the work of subordinates and in making technical decisions. Completed work is routinely reviewed by the Director of Human Service Initiatives in collaboration with the Human Services’ Administrators.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in technical management analysis work which included evaluating work methods, procedures or organizational structures, and a bachelor's degree.
  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and training, and a bachelor's degree.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

At the time of hire, a valid driver’s license and positive driving record, a favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references are required. The applicant must provide proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license within 60 days from the date of hire. An alternative form of identification will be accepted if you are not eligible to receive a Pennsylvania driver’s license under 67 PA. Code § 83 and driving is not an essential function of the position.
