About the Role:

Service New Brunswick is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead with strong Salesforce platform experience to support the delivery of high-quality digital solutions across enterprise SaaS platforms. This role provides leadership in planning, designing, coordinating, and managing testing activities for multiple product-centric Agile teams operating in a DevOps environment.
The successful candidate will help ensure that Salesforce-based solutions, integrations, enhancements, and releases meet business requirements, quality standards, security expectations, privacy obligations, accessibility requirements, and production readiness criteria before they are made available to clients, business users, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Quality Assurance Analysts supporting Salesforce and related enterprise platform delivery teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities including functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, security (roles & permissions), and release testing. (e.g. healthcare-specific workflows (care plans, referrals, consent, integrations)
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA) during test planning, execution, and data handling.
• Establish and maintain QA standards, processes, templates, and best practices aligned with Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and SNB methodologies.
• Develop and manage test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data approaches, defect management practices, and reporting.
• Champion test automation and drive adoption of tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira with Zephyr Scale), ensuring traceability and structured test execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, suppliers, business) and contribute to Agile ceremonies to review requirements, assess quality risks, and support release readiness.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, configuration changes, integrations, workflows, permissions, and deployment impacts from a quality assurance perspective.
• Monitor QA progress, resource capacity, priorities, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple Agile teams and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead release and change management including readiness assessments and approvals for deployment to staging, user acceptance testing, and production environments.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation including testing evidence, defect records, and related system documentation are complete, accurate, and maintained.
• Coordinate and manage testing exception requests when production-like data is required, ensuring appropriate privacy, security, approval, and secure destruction practices are followed.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, Salesforce testing approaches, automation coverage, and overall delivery quality.

Essential Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, etc.) with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive related experience; OR a post-secondary diploma in a related discipline with seven (7) years of progressive related experience.
• Related Quality Assurance (QA) experience must include QA work in a Salesforce environment as well as experience leading QA teams and coordinating QA activities across multiple projects, products, platforms, or Agile teams.
• Applicants must reside in New Brunswick or be willing to relocate to New Brunswick prior to their start date.

Asset Qualifications:

• SAFe DevOps Practitioner or other Agile, SAFe, DevOps, testing, or quality assurance certification.
• Experience with Azure Devops, Jira, Confluence
• Experience testing SaaS platforms, CRM systems, case management solutions, citizen-facing digital services, or enterprise integrations.
• Experience with API testing, data migration testing, accessibility testing, security testing, performance testing, and end-to-end regression testing.
• Experience supporting procurement or onboarding of contracted QA resources, including input into statements of work, vendor evaluation, or interview processes.
• Experience working in a bilingual public sector, regulated, privacy-sensitive, or 24x7 service environment.
• Solid understanding of privacy, security, and accessibility considerations in enterprise application delivery.

Salary: $ 67,600- $ 94,406 annually – Pay Band 5 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
