Job Description

• Reads QC Specifications to ascertain acceptable part specifications.

-Checks parts to make sure they meet customer specifications.

• Completes required paperwork.
• Uses a variety of instruments to perform quality tests.
• Calibrates and maintains the various measuring instruments used in the QC department.
• Calibrates and maintains various measuring instruments(scheduled or repair) used by

machinists, operators, technicians, and engineers.

• Distributes check sheets, gauges, plugs and fixtures for technician self inspection.
• Able to use computer programs to measure and check parts
• Able to use CMM to measure/check parts.
• Communicates customer requirements, sampling procedures, and tests to technicians

and inspector packers.

• Is knowledgeable in ISO requirements.
• Proficient in English.
