
The Quality Assurance Inspector will work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to support both internal and supplier conformance to standards of the Quality Management System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Perform receiving inspection per the established supplier audit program
· Process incoming returns and perform initial returned product evaluation
· Perform sampled random audits of custom labeling, packaging, and assembly processes
· Perform sampled random audits of outbound shipments
· Assist with completion of internal audit schedule
· Assist with inventory cycle counts
· Maintain daily communication with the Quality Supervisor in regard to trend and potential issues
· Assist the Quality Supervisor in support control of Quality System documentation and quality records
· Assist assembly and warehouse functions as time permits.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or GED
· 1-3 years’ experience preferably in a prior quality position
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reading and/or training materials as well as federal/state regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures as needed
· Presentation skills
· Must be PC literate (MS Office) and have data entry, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Previous experience performing quality inspections
· Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly
· Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
· Experience in a regulated industry is preferred
· Ability to work independently under his/her own initiative
