Quality Assurance Expert

The Quality assurance expert will be responsible for defining, driving, and executing quality strategies across Home and Pro product segments. This role requires a visionary leader who can embed quality practices early in the development cycle, leverage advanced automation and AI/ML technologies, and influence cross-functional teams to adopt a shift-left mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Leadership
Define and implement test strategies for NPI programs and ongoing product development.
Champion the shift-left approach, ensuring quality is built into the design and development phases.
Act as a quality evangelist, influencing product managers, engineers, and leadership teams.
Automation & Innovation
Drive automation enablement for Home and Pro products, ensuring scalable and maintainable frameworks.
Lead adoption of AI/ML-assisted testing, predictive defect analysis, and smart test selection.
Architect and optimize continuous testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD workflows.
Evaluate and implement test automation tools and frameworks to improve coverage, speed, and reliability.
Mentor teams on automation best practices, ensuring sustainable automation growth across projects.
Metrics & Reporting
Present quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and executives.
Provide insights from field escalations and customer feedback to refine test strategies.
Cross-Segment Enablement
Bringing best practices across Home and Pro segment testing.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in quality standards and processes.
Customer-Centric Quality
Drive initiatives that improve customer experience and reduce defect leakage.
Partner with support teams to analyze escalations and implement corrective measures.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
12 to 15 years of experience in software/firmware testing, quality engineering, or product qualification.
Proven expertise in test strategy development, automation frameworks, and AI/ML in testing
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
Ability to present complex quality metrics and risks to senior stakeholders.
Desired Skills
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or similar).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and continuous testing
Agentic AI exposure and hands-on
Experience with predictive analytics and defect prevention strategies
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
