Job Description

Cloud One Next (C1N) provides secured cloud landing zones for a variety of Mission System Owners (MSO) across the DoD that live in the cloud or are working to migrate from traditional on-premises data centers to cloud environments. The cloud landing zone includes standardized common services that exist across multiple Cloud Service Provider (CSP) native offerings that are Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved for Impact Levels (IL) 2, 4, 5 and 6. Cloud One also provides MSOs with a set of common services which provide a standardized set of guardrails and tools throughout the Air Force (DAF) cloud infrastructure. Cloud one is responsible for day-2 operations of the cloud infrastructure provided to our mission systems. Cloud One Next will break the current contract into 3 contracts: ACSS, Migration, and Resale.

The Quality Assurance Manager will focus primarily on supporting the Cloud One Next (C1N) Architecture & Common Shared Services (ACSS) Program. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Lead will ensure all performance standards, measures, and contract deliverables are in conformance with the contract and performance work statement (PWS), Leidos’ Engineering Edge NextGen (EENG) standard methodologies, industry standards and best practices, and the C1N/ACSS Quality Control Plan (QCP). As opportunities to improve process and performance are identified, the Quality Engineering Control (QEC) representative will guide the improvement to ensure effective implementation is achieved.

The position is expected to be on customer site (Hanscom AFB) Bedford, MA and will require ~25% travel to various customer sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute quality plans and activities that measure the requirements according to Leidos policies and standards and customer requirements.
  • Integrate closely with the program team members and collaboration with program leadership to continuously implement and execute the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Report status of program activities, data, and risks to Program and Leidos Leadership as required.
  • Support other Quality actions and responsibilities across the program as required.
  • Support program Staff Meetings and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with various functional service teams to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences.
  • Measure program performance against contractual requirements, demonstrating full understanding of the customer mission requirements.
  • Review deliverables, processes, and support the full deliverable lifecycle for compliance with requirements to ensure quality standards are upheld and record results of reviews for tracking and analysis.
  • Conduct and support data management activities at varying levels of on all SLA performance related activities and monitor internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends in adherence to the Quality Management System.
  • Assist in the creation of the Internal Audit Schedule to drive compliance with the PWS, Leidos Policies and Procedures, the Quality Plan, and other Industry Standards and Best Practices (such as ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI-Dev) as applicable.
  • Ensure the Internal Quality Audit schedule is properly executed, identifying applicable objective evidence and adding value.
  • Communicate Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to stakeholders to ensure their comprehension and timeline requirements. Manage audit events and findings in the tracking tool.
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to junior Quality Assurance staff, including task prioritization, performance feedback, and alignment to program quality objectives.
  • Drive data-driven quality insights to inform Program Manager and Government decision-making
  • Identify systemic risks and performance gaps across delivery, compliance, and SLA execution
  • Influence program strategy through quality analytics and governance

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret clearance at a minimum required to start
  • US Citizenship required
  • Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) (ISO 9001, CMMI, or equivalent)
  • Internal / External Audit execution and CAPA management
  • SLA / KPI performance monitoring and trend analysis
  • Process improvement and compliance governance
  • Customer-facing experience (PMO / Government interaction)
  • DoD / Federal IT or cloud program experience

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Familiarity with Government and DoD IT and security policies and requirements
  • Experience in ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI-DEV Industry Standards and Best Practices.
  • Current industry certifications in quality management and or service management such as ISO 9001-20000 and ITIL.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Supporting the development of strategic quality approaches for witnessing test execution to ensure requirement satisfaction

This is a Quality Engineering (NOT Testing)
Must have QMS / audit / compliance experience
Must NOT be primarily:
o software testers
o automation engineers
o test-focused QA

SLA / KPI Performance Experience (Key Differentiator)
• Must demonstrate:
o performance monitoring
o trend analysis
o identifying and addressing performance risks

Location:

On customer site but must be able to travel to various CONUS customer sites as needed.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
