Provide Quality Engineering support to manufacturing, helping to ensure delivery of highest quality product to the customer. Provide Quality Engineering support to product development teams, helping to ensure development of highest quality new products.
NFQ Level 7 (full credits) qualification in a relevant discipline.
2+ years related work experience or equivalent combination.
Working technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures.
General understanding of business unit/group function.
Work performed in a quality system environment; inadequate performance may result in regulatory noncompliance.
Works on moderately scoped problems requiring analysis of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures.
Broad knowledge of technical alternatives and their system impact.
Cultivates internal networks; begins developing external networks.
May lead moderate‑scope project teams.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
Influence at peer level and occasionally first‑level management.
Plans and prioritises own daily work to meet schedule.
Exercises authority and judgment within defined limits.
Errors may delay schedules or require additional resources.
General supervision; trains new Quality Engineers.
May provide limited direction to exempt or skilled non‑exempt employees; may evaluate performance or assist in career development.
