Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a QA (Functional and Automation) engineer, reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President The selected candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end testing activities, ensuring high-quality delivery of TradeNeXus applications, and supporting release readiness across functional, system integration and automation layers.

The team you will be joining is part of Global Link / TradeNeXus, a critical platform that supports trade matching, confirmation, and settlement across global financial markets. This role is vital in ensuring system stability, regulatory compliance, and seamless client experience, while enabling continuous delivery of strategic enhancements and risk mitigation initiatives.

What you will be responsible for:

Drive end-to-end functional and integration testing for TradeNeXus releases, ensuring coverage across business workflows (matching, settlement, SSI, SWIFT/MX flows).

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and upstream/downstream systems to understand requirements and validate complex scenarios.
  • Own test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management using tools like JIRA and qTest.
  • Support release readiness activities, including regression cycles, environment validation, and coordination across QA, Dev, and Prod support teams.
  • Contribute to test automation and process improvements, enhancing efficiency, coverage, and quality standards.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial workflows.
  • Experience in capital markets / post-trade processing systems (trade matching, settlements, SWIFT messaging, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work across global teams and manage multi-region testing activities
  • Good understanding of test lifecycle, defect triage, and release management processes
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks and continuous integration practices is an added advantage.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree
  • 6–10 years of experience in QA / Functional Testing
  • Certifications such as ISTQB / CSTE / Automation certifications (Selenium, Playwright, RPA etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Test Management Tools (qTest), JIRA, SQL Developer, and debugging tools
  • Good communication skills; ability to work with global stakeholders (additional language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory)

Additional requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a global delivery model, including coordination across different time zones when required
  • Flexibility to support critical releases, production validations, and go-live activities during extended hours or weekends
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with global teams (US, EMEA, APAC)
  • Prior exposure to capital markets, trade processing platforms, or TradeNeXus-like systems is a strong advantage

Work Requirement:

You will be -

  • Based in Bangalore State Street office
  • Working on a Hybrid Model (4 days at office)
