Our VCSfastCenterSCADA system(on-premises)facilitatessmooth data acquisition, monitoring, and control of MSD industrial processes through the creation of efficient, reliable, secure, and high-performance automation projects. Software developed to run onfastCenterSCADA automates MSD industrial equipment, processes, and machinery.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our VCS solutions. You will be a valuable part of a cross-functional teamthatincludes system architects, PLC automation engineers, and the Commissioning team, to ensure seamless integration of software components and deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative solutions through meticulous manual testing and active involvement in test automation efforts. You willbe responsible forunderstanding requirements,designingand executing manual test cases,identifyingand reporting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team. Additionally, you willhavethe possibilityto contribute to the automation strategy andparticipatein the development and maintenance of automated tests.

In this role, you will report to the Lead ofVCSPlatform Development Team.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manualtesting withadditionalautomated testing,including experience with testing software interacting with physical hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Full-Spectrum Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies encompassing both manual and automated testing techniques.

• Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated test scripts into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.

• Defect Management:Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce. Work closely with development teams to ensuretimelyresolution.

• Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance engineers or contribute to basic performance testing efforts using relevant tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong Foundation in Manual Testing: Proven ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for various software components and systems.

• Test Design Principles: Strong understanding of different testing methodologies, test levels, and test design techniques.

• Defect Management Tools: Experience using defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze requirements,identifypotential issues, and troubleshoot problems effectively in both manual and automated testing.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate test results, defects, and automation strategies.

• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with developers and other stakeholders.

• English Proficiency: Ability to read and write technical documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g.,Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with other programming languages relevant for testing.

• Experience with performance testing tools

• Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
