– Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Manager and operating with minimal supervision, the Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting product and process requirements within a matrixed organization. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functional teams. The Quality Engineer is expected to be a self‑reliant, proactive contributor who demonstrates initiative, takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, and exercises sound judgment in making independent decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Competency – Assist in driving total Quality across all production. Ensure Business Management System requirements are met. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential to carry out this role. Must be self-motivated, committed, and complete work in a timely manner. Effective communication skills are necessary.

Education and/or Experience
- Associates, Bachelors, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience with utilizing ERP or MES preferred.
- Experience utilizing Quality Management Software.
Preferred
Computer Skills
The individual should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with email, internet and intranet is expected.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customer, vendors, or employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Work Environment
Although this is an office-based position, this is an electronic assembly environment that involves no unusual physical risks or hazardous conditions. The type of equipment that must be used includes but is not limited to electronic diagnostic equipment and Automated Inspection Equipment. Protective eyewear and/or smocks are required in some work environments. Electrostatic (ESD) precautions must be taken in this work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
