What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications):
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in child counseling, development or psychology, or related social science field, or nursing license (LVN, LPT, RN), or Six (6) or more years of QA experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program will be substituted as equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience & Skills:
One (1) year residential care experience or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience required.
One (1) year quality assurance experience required
Compliance & Safety:
Valid California Driver’s License with an eligible driving record per company policy.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
First Aid certification
How you will make a difference
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the Quality Assurance Program. The position is responsible for auditing documentation to reconcile with billing and oversees documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with Medi-Cal, County, other outside agencies, and internal standards and policies. QA Coordinator manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. QA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the discharged chart is closed in the correct order and completed. Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program, medical records and records all CQI data.
Division/Program Overview
Program: The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility.
Population Served: Designed to help adult residents, ages 18-59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community.
Facility & Setting: Short-term voluntary residential facility, 24/7 Program
Clinical Services: Therapeutic and mental health services, Medication evaluation and support services, Crisis intervention
Length of Stay: Short-term
Skills & Transition: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling, transition back to community
Skills & Services: Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services, Daily exercise and health/wellness education
