Job Description

RH is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our Dmitriy & Co manufacturing location in Los Angeles, CA. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship, supporting the quality and consistency of our upholstery pieces. The Quality Assurance Associate will assist in inspection processes, preparation of shipments, and organization of materials, contributing to RH’s commitment to design, precision, and excellence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in inspecting finished goods, frames, and materials to ensure adherence to purchase order details, including accuracy in construction, color, shade, and finish
  • Support the preparation of completed orders for shipment, including assembly, wrapping, staging, and documentation under direction
  • Contribute to quality control processes by identifying inconsistencies and escalating issues for resolution
  • Provide support in upholstery preparation by handling materials, fibers, and adhesives as directed
  • Organize and distribute workpieces and supplies to team members to support workflow efficiency
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and releasing shipments and maintaining material inventory
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility environment to support production excellence
  • Safely use hand tools and small equipment to assist with inspection and production tasks


OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in furniture production, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to follow purchase order instructions and execute tasks accurately under direction
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required
  • Receptive to feedback, direction, and opportunities for improvement
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories in excess of 75 pounds while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Bend, twist, stretch, reach, stoop, climb, squat, kneel, push and pull frequently
  • Maneuver effectively around the workroom floor, and loading docks
  • Grasp, move, and assemble materials and products with hands
  • Distinguish and evaluate differences in color, shade, and brightness
