Job Description

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer who is passionate about software quality and enjoys working closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable applications. This is an opportunity to take ownership of testing strategy, influence product quality, and contribute to modern technology solutions used by customers around the world.

  • Lead the analysis and creation of comprehensive test cases for web applications, websites, APIs, and supporting infrastructure
  • Perform hands-on manual testing while developing and maintaining automated test suites
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
  • Assess application readiness for releases, migrations, and deployments
  • Develop test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing procedures
  • Provide usability, functionality, and quality feedback throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Support prioritization, estimation, and acceptance criteria discussions during planning activities
  • Investigate defects, assess business impact, and help drive resolution efforts
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on testing best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and team efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance within a collaborative development environment
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools
  • 3+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs and web services
  • Experience creating test plans, executing test cases, and reporting quality outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize issues effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and scripting languages
  • Experience building and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, C#, or .NET development environments
  • Experience testing non-GUI applications, including databases, flat files, and integration services
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Exposure to AI-enabled technologies and modern software development practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale software platforms
  • Experience working in data-driven or analytics-focused technology environments
