As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA), you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of enterprise software solutions through comprehensive testing, test automation, and quality assurance practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, stable, and production-ready applications while driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) who will support the implementation of the Trade, Supply Chain, and Microfinance (TSCMF) platform by leading quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software testing, test automation, and quality management. You should be able to work independently, partner with cross-functional teams, and provide risk-based quality recommendations to ensure successful product delivery.
What You’ll Do
Review solution designs, functional specifications, and technical documents to develop comprehensive test strategies and identify quality risks
Prepare and maintain test artifacts including test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test reports using Azure DevOps
Execute and automate functional, system integration, performance, and data migration testing
Develop and maintain test data, user roles, and testing environments
Validate data migration activities through reconciliation, comparison, and data quality checks
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle
Monitor testing progress, manage defects, and provide regular test status reports to project stakeholders
Build and maintain quality dashboards, reporting metrics, and release readiness assessments
Support CI/CD quality gate implementation and test automation initiatives
Participate in sprint reviews, defect triage, release planning, and deployment activities
Recommend release readiness based on testing outcomes and quality risk assessments
Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to other quality assurance team members
What You’ll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing
Strong experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and other quality assurance documentation
Experience with test automation and automated data validation
Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
Strong knowledge of ISTQB or BCS Test Body of Knowledge (TBOK)
Experience testing web applications built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular
Experience testing backend applications developed using Java, Python, or Node.js
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data validation and testing
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Preferred:
ISTQB or ISEB/BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and automated quality gates
Experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Trade Finance systems
Experience with data migration testing and reconciliation
Experience creating quality dashboards and reporting metrics
Undergraduate background in Finance or Accountancy
