Job Description

The QA Analyst performs work in the areas of Quality Control, Customer Technical Service and Special Assignments, all designed to ensure that product standards are complied with, technical concerns of customers are addressed and continual improvement is sustained in all operations of the Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a four-year course in either Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or three-year course in Chemical Engineering Technology
  • Must be a Licensed Chemical Engineer, Chemist or Chemical Technician
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

1. Working knowledge of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology

2. Ability to articulate ideas and communicate them effectively both verbally and in writing

3. Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of electronic spreadsheet and word-processing applications

4. Ability to perform tasks that require accuracy and precision

5. Ability to detect and distinguish subtle differences in color

6. Ability to accurately describe, interpret and evaluate analysis results

7. Knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles involved in the analysis procedures

8. Knowledge and understanding of the baking process and the functions and interactions of ingredients

9. Knowledge and understanding of the use, capabilities and limitations of Pilmico bakery products

10. Proficiency in the use of company-authorized computer applications
