What will I be doing?
The Quality Assurance Analyst is the first-level monitor within the Gulf Coast Workforce Board’s Quality Assurance & Risk Team. This position supports monitoring, compliance, and quality assurance activities for workforce programs and subrecipients. QA Analysts perform detailed reviews, data analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and proficiency in case management systems.
Monitoring & Compliance:
üConduct programmatic monitoring activities, including desk reviews, on-site visits, and interviews, following established QA procedures.
üReview subrecipient compliance with contractual requirements, policies, and regulations.
üDocument findings, prepare working papers, and assist in drafting monitoring reports.
Data Accuracy & Reporting:
üConduct accurate data validation in case management systems.
üEnsure integrity and accuracy of monitoring results, reports, and supporting documentation.
üAnalyze data trends and identify discrepancies for corrective action.
Quality Assurance Support:
üAssist in quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and identifying gaps.
üCollaborate with Lead QA Analysts and QA Manager to implement corrective actions and improvements.
Risk & Compliance Assistance:
üSupport risk assessment activities by gathering data and documenting issues in alignment with COSO ERM principles.
üRisk & Compliance Assistance: Escalate compliance concerns and emerging risks to Lead QA Analysts.
Key Qualifications
üExperience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance, or workforce program monitoring.
üAbility to analyze data and prepare clear, concise reports.
üExperience in data entry and case management systems with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Do you have…
üBachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
ü3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties
Preferred Qualifications
üProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
üStrong organizational and technical writing skills.
üFamiliarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and monitoring standards
