ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and execute quality standards:

• Permanent on-site control quality output of fabric and materials suppliers through fabric inspections for sample and bulk orders base on given quality requirements.
• Work with his/her supervisor to liaise with Headquarter for risk assessment, ensure appropriate corrective actions plan in place for production execution.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply to the company standards.
• Support his/her supervisor for making quality decisions.
• Constant alignment and communication with his/her supervisor on workmanship and quality requirements.

Reporting on quality performance and projects:

• Liaise with his/her supervisor and Headquarter for quality inspection report - documentation and maintenance.
• Liaise with his/her supervisor and Headquarter, monitor vendors/factories’ performance through analysis of statistical data. Work out corrective action plan for immediate improvement.
• Support his/her supervisor for quality projects.

Plus, any other requirements as directed by Management

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Proficiency in fabric production processes
• Good knowledge on technical outdoor, sport and golf wear fabric and materials
• Excellent experience on fabric inspection and 4 points system
• Strong negotiation, analytical and reporting skills.
• Good command of English both in written and spoken. Japanese speaking will be a benefit.
• Good organizational skills.
• High degree of flexibility
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.

• Diploma in textile studies.
