Job Description

The Quality Assurance is responsible for planning quality activities within the production site and performing audits on processes and procedures according to the Quality Management Plan. Coordinates checks on warehouse, production and support functions, ensures correct document management and adherence to regulatory and operational requirements.

Conducts periodic reviews of procedures (SOPs), identifies opportunities for process improvement and supports management in ensuring occupational safety and compliance with regulations. It manages and improves the SOP program itself, as well as planning, facilitating and verifying the training of site operators through audits.

  • Apply and develop a customer‑oriented Quality Management Plan, using claims data to drive continuous process improvements. Manage and support OP16 projects at both department and division level to enhance overall quality performance.
  • Define data collection plans for critical processes and train site leaders on baseline data audits. Ensure that site teams conduct monthly audits on key processes in line with ISO and CDATS requirements, including internal audits related to testing and calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Manage the verification of purchased products and monitor supplier non‑conformities, ensuring that purchase specifications for critical raw materials and packaging are defined and respected. Verify that raw material certificates provided by suppliers are consistent with those stored in shared systems and coordinate external supplier quality audits in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Ensure that any non‑conforming products in stock are promptly identified, blocked, and segregated, preventing them from being shipped to customers.
  • Guarantee and implement effective systems for the recording, storage, and management of quality data, ensuring accessibility for company functions and use in decision‑making processes. Implement monitoring and control systems through control charts, manage the Corrective Actions database, and prepare monthly and annual quality reports.
  • Drive employee engagement with quality by organizing and conducting training activities for site operators, ensuring their effectiveness through targeted audits and structured checks of acquired skills. Keep SOPs, ISO standards, testing methods, and site quality documentation up to date while staying current with technology and process trends.
  • Support the Plant Quality Manager during customer audits and PPAP processes in line with IATF standards, ensuring completion of all required documentation through both traditional and digital platforms. Support site certifications including QUALICOAT, MED, and ISO9001, and perform any other tasks assigned by management.
