To ensure the consistent application of the Nestlé Quality Management System across the Sheikhupura site, the Business Quality Specialist (BQS) is responsible for safeguarding food safety and compliance. This role challenges all functions to drive Nestlé Continuous Excellence in the pursuit of zero defects and waste, which is essential for maintaining consumer trust and delight.

A Day in the Life…

  • Set up, manage, and uphold the Nestlé Quality Management System at the plant level, ensuring our high standards are consistently met.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and commitment to zero defects among plant personnel.
  • Ensure the management and release of raw and packaging materials, investigating any non-conformities until resolved.
  • Conduct supplier audits and drive improvements in case of non-conformities, strengthening our partnerships for quality assurance.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene practices, including the effective implementation of pest management programs.
  • Manage the internal auditing program, assess the performance of the quality system, report its effectiveness to management, and propose actionable improvements.
  • Monitor key quality parameters using statistical process control to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote quality awareness at the plant and assist in training programs for personnel and contractors, covering initial, quality awareness, hygiene, and quality staff training.
  • Adhere strictly to WHO and local codes in all job functions, ensuring no direct contact with pregnant women and mothers of infants and young children in a business capacity.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Qualification: Bachelors in food science, Microbiology, or Chemistry
  • Experience: 1-2 years in the field of quality management, with demonstrated capability to lead a team, such as lab analysts.
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
