The IT Quality Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Qualifications:
2-5 years Quality Assurance experience preferred
Understanding of QA within Software Development environment
Programming Proficiency and Database (Intermediate)
Skills for automation engineer
Languages: Demonstrate intermediate-level skill in at least one of the following: Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Core Skills: Grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and writing clean, maintainable code.
SQL: Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries, including SELECT statements with JOIN operations to retrieve and validate data from databases
Test Automation Tools & Frameworks
Web UI Automation: Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
Selenium: Expertise in WebDriver, locators, explicit waits, and Page Object Model (POM).
Playwright: Proficiency with its API, auto-waits, and built-in test runner
Experience is any other frame-work/tooling is also fine.
API Automation:
Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, Karate, or SoapUI, or programmatic libraries like requests (Python) or Rest-Assured (Java).
Understanding of API authorization mechanisms (OAuth, API Keys, JWT).
Mobile Automation: Experience testing on mobile platforms using cloud device farms like Perfecto. Familiarity with Appium is a plus.
AI in Automation
AI-Powered Tools: Familiarity with AI-driven testing concepts such as self-healing locators, visual comparison
LLM Application Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) for practical testing tasks such as creating test case outlines and assisting in script creation.
Prompt Engineering: Basic ability to craft effective prompts for AI models to generate desired testing artifacts
Domain Knowledge (Added Advantage)
Consumer Banking: Deposits, Payments, Lending, Customer Servicing. Wealth Management: Investments and related financial products.
