We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team. You’ll help drive quality outcomes across our work, support consistent systems and processes, and partner with teams to keep standards high where it counts. Mō te tūranga | About the role

As a Quality Advisor, you’ll work closely with operational teams to support, improve, and embed quality systems across the business. This is a role for someone who can build strong relationships, keep things practical, and help turn quality requirements into day-to-day actions that make sense on the ground. You’ll be trusted to provide advice, drive consistency, and help teams deliver work to a high standard without adding unnecessary red tape.

Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, and standards.
  • Provide practical quality advice to operational teams and help embed best practice across projects and business activities.
  • Monitor compliance with quality requirements and support internal reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Work alongside teams to identify risks, solve issues early, and improve how work is planned and delivered.
  • Contribute to reporting, documentation, and quality records to ensure they are accurate, current, and fit for purpose.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business to promote a consistent high-standard approach to quality.

  • Experience in a quality, compliance, or continuous improvement role, ideally in infrastructure, construction, engineering, or a similar environment.
  • A good understanding of quality systems, process improvement, and document control.
  • The ability to interpret requirements and turn them into practical, workable outcomes for teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships across different parts of the business.
  • A proactive, accountable approach with a high attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and keep things moving.
  • A collaborative style and a genuine commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job properly.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in quality management, auditing, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, ArcGIS and M-files in advantageous but not essential.
