Job Identification
- The role involves performing inspection and testing activities on raw materials and finished products to ensure full compliance with required standards, while accurately documenting results to support quality-related decision-making. It also includes actively participating in daily quality control procedures, monitoring adherence to regulations, and reporting any deviations or issues along with recommended corrective actions. Additionally, the role supports both internal and external audits by supplying all necessary data, records, and reports.
What We Expect
- Inspect all raw materials in receiving areas and ensure they comply with specifications.
- Ensure full adherence to the preparation steps in MMI and prevent progressing to any stage unless the product meets specifications during preparation and aligns with the production plan.
- Ensure the implementation of GMP standards in all areas, including syrup rooms, water treatment areas, laboratories, and the production hall.
- Immediately report any issues to the responsible parties and relevant stakeholders and follow up on resolving them efficiently and appropriately.
- Verify the effectiveness of sterilization processes for syrup tanks and production lines.Participate in applying HACCP systems and corrective action programs and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain controlled consumption of chemicals.
- Improve water and syrup efficiency appropriately to achieve optimal results.
- Operate and monitor water treatment units, wells, and water supply operations.
- Conduct all chemical, physical, and microbiological tests for syrup, treated water, and finished products during production processes.
- Monitor water inventory and report balances and consumption periodically.
- Inspect all distributor vehicles and post-mix vehicles.
- Perform trials and studies for any new product or new pack size and prepare the required reports.
- Conduct field visits and submit reports for Freshness, Market Visits, and Fountain.
- Ensure the mixes are correct before transferring them to the line, verify their quantities, and inspect them according to the records.
- Monitor food safety, environmental, and quality performance indicators and provide the related reports.
- Supervise sugar workers and monitor their performance.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all sugar tanks, syrup tanks, filters, water‑treatment components, and sterilization tanks.
- Ensure test results are documented and reviewed for compliance with specifications.
- Ensure calibration of measuring devices in the laboratory, water treatment, and syrup rooms, and maintain the calibration records.
- Ensure retention samples are collected according to specifications.
- Follow up on the wastewater treatment unit and conduct its periodic tests in line with company and local requirements.Follow up on all planned and unplanned maintenance activities in the syrup unit, sterilization area, and water treatment plant.
- Ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
- Implement safety and environmental rules and practices during daily activities.
- Actively participate in training courses assigned by the company in all areas such as occupational health and safety, quality and food safety, environment, or others.
- Perform any duties assigned within the job level by the direct supervisor or department manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Quality).
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in inspection and quality control within an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of quality systems, food safety, environmental standards, and occupational safety; internal auditing experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Good command of English for reading technical documents and communicating with suppliers.
- Ability to work in a shift-based system.
