On behalf of our Tanzania based client,
we are looking for a competent and experienced
Field Promoter –
Vegetable Seeds (Agronomist)
Location:
Coastal area
Role Purpose:
To
promote vegetable seed products, support sales growth, strengthen distributor
engagement, and provide market intelligence through field-based marketing
activities and farmer outreach programs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Marketing
and sales of vegetable seeds within the assigned territory.
·
Establish
and manage demonstration plots for vegetable seed products.
·
Train
farmers and other stakeholders on vegetable seed products and related agronomic
practices.
·
Support
distributors through the promotion of vegetable seed products.
·
Compile
and submit weekly reports summarizing marketing and sales activities.
·
Monitor
changes in the market environment, anticipate market trends, and recommend
appropriate actions.
·
Periodically
prepare market intelligence reports summarizing competitor activities, sales
trends, and market prices.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Experience:
·
Diploma
or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural
Extension, or a related field.
·
Experience
in agricultural sales, marketing, or extension services is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
·
Sales
and marketing skills.
·
Good
communication and training skills.
·
Strong
interpersonal and relationship management skills.
·
Ability
to prepare reports and analyze market information.
·
Ability
to work independently and meet targets.
·
Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
·
Basic
computer skills
·
Good
level in English recommended, both written & spoken.
