About this job: Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Electrical and Electronics Technician. POSITION IN THE COMPANY Position Label : Electrical and Electronics Technician KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Main Areas of Responsibility: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic systems on soap production, mixing, filling, packaging, and utility equipment. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, sensors, variable-frequency drives, PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, and related plant systems. Diagnose breakdowns promptly, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate maintenance and spare-parts records. Apply lockout/tagout procedures and comply with electrical, quality, hygiene, and occupational safety requirements Requirements MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Education Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Work Experience: Four years of relevant experience in a busy manufacturing environment ADDED ADVANTAGE Ability to interpret electrical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and work effectively with production and maintenance teams.
