Job Purpose

The Operations Manager / Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily logistics and delivery operations of the company, ensuring timely service delivery, optimal fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills to manage dispatch activities and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Plan, coordinate, and supervise all daily logistics, transportation, and delivery operations.
• 
  Manage dispatch activities and ensure efficient allocation of deliveries to drivers and riders.
• 
  Monitor fleet utilization, route efficiency, and delivery performance to maximize productivity.
• 
  Track operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• 
  Ensure timely and accurate execution of delivery schedules and service commitments.
• 
  Address operational challenges, customer escalations, and service disruptions in a timely manner.
• 
  Develop and implement operational processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• 
  Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure fleet readiness at all times.
• 
  Coordinate with customer service, finance, and business development teams to ensure seamless operations.
• 
  Prepare and present operational reports, performance analyses, and recommendations to management.
• 
  Lead, coach, and supervise operational staff while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• 
  Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, delivery operations, or a similar environment.
• 
  Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills.
• 
  Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• 
  Proficiency in operational reporting and performance monitoring tools.
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
