The Reefer Truck Driver will
be responsible for
the safe and
timely
transportation of temperature-sensitive horticultural produce while ensuring cold chain compliance and product freshness throughout delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Operate refrigerated trucks to transport perishable products safely and efficiently.

• 
  Monitor and
  maintain
  required temperature settings during transportation.

• 
  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• 
  Ensure proper completion of delivery documents, temperature logs, and trip reports.

• 
  Report vehicle mechanical issues
  immediately.

• 
  Maintain compliance with road safety and cold chain procedures.

• 
  Ensure
  timely
  delivery and professional interaction with clients.

Requirements

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience operating reefer trucks or handling time-sensitive deliveries.

• 
  Valid Rwandan driving license for heavy trucks.

• 
  Good understanding of cold chain management and transport safety regulations.

• 
  Basic mechanical knowledge of truck operations.

• 
  Good communication
  skills.

• 
  Languages: Kinyarwanda, Operational English, and Swahili.

• 
  Time management skills.

• 
  Attention to detail.

• 
  Reliability and professionalism.

• 
  Ability to work under pressure.
