Job Description


Job Title:

Digital Press & Drone Operator


Core Responsibilities


1. Digital Press Operations


  • Machine Operation:

    Set up, program, and operate high-speed digital printing presses and large-format printers to produce high-quality output.


  • Pre-Press Management:

    Review and prepare files for production, ensuring correct specifications, crop marks, bleed, and color profiles (CMYK).


  • Quality Assurance:

    Monitor print runs for ink coverage, alignment, color consistency, and surface integrity throughout production.


  • Finishing & Packaging:

    Supervise post-print processes including cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging of completed print jobs.


  • Equipment Maintenance:

    Conduct routine calibration, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal press performance.


2. Media Drone Operations


  • Flight Planning:

    Develop flight paths, assess airspace restrictions, and evaluate weather before deployment.


  • UAV Piloting:

    Operate drones safely to capture high-resolution aerial photography, videography, and mapping data.


  • Equipment Management:

    Maintain drones and camera systems, calibrate sensors, manage battery logs, and ensure all gear is operational.


  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Adhere to aviation authority regulations (e.g., FAA Part 107 or local equivalent), including flight logging and permit management.


3. Media Processing & Asset Management


  • Data Handling:

    Transfer, organize, and securely back up raw aerial footage and imagery.


  • Digital Editing:

    Process and optimize drone footage and photos for print-ready or digital media use.


  • Inventory Management:

    Track and maintain stock levels for printing substrates, inks, drone parts, and accessories.


Requirements


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Minimum

    A1 in Technical Education

    (Mechanics, IT, Electrical, or related field).


  • Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to safety and quality standards.


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
