
Job Purpose The Data Analyst and Reporting Officer is responsible for managing institutional/unit monitoring and evaluation data systems, consolidating project and departmental reports, ensuring data quality and consistency, and producing timely analytical reports that support management decision-making and organizational performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities M&E Data Management Design, develop, and manage institutional M&E reporting tools, including databases, dashboards, progress trackers, and automated reporting systems. Maintain and regularly update institutional project databases and reporting platforms. Support baseline data collection and periodic data updates across departments and projects Reporting and Analysis Consolidate reports from all sections and departments into comprehensive institutional performance reports. Produce weekly situation reports (SITREPs), monthly progress reports, quarterly performance summaries, and other management reports. Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) scorecards for management review. Analyze project and operational data to identify trends, delays, performance gaps, and emerging risks. Data Quality Assurance Conduct data cleaning, validation, verification, and consistency checks. Ensure standardized reporting formats and data quality across departments and projects. Maintain an institutional archive of project data, field reports, photographs, evidence, and supporting documentation Requirements Qualifications & Experience 3.1 Education: Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Statistics, Data Science or a related field. 3.2 Experience Experience of 1-2 years in data analysis, data management, reporting, or monitoring and evaluation is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and reporting tools is required. Experience with dashboards, statistical software, or business intelligence tools is an added advantage.
